Made to be noticed
The finish of a luminaire determines how it catches daylight, reflects artificial light and ages over time. Every finish in our collection starts with the material itself. Some reveal the natural character of aluminium. Others add colour, texture or extra protection. Each one follows its own production process, chosen to suit the product, the application and the look you want to achieve.
01 Aluminium
The material, left to speak for itself
Aluminium needs very little to make an impression. By polishing, brushing or tumbling the surface, we reveal different aspects of the same material instead of covering it.
Each finish brings out a different side of aluminium while keeping its distinctive character visible. Over time, some versions develop a natural patina that adds character.
02 Powder paint
Colour that stands the test of time
Powder coating creates a durable finish that resists scratches and keeps its colour for years. The coating also makes it suitable for demanding indoor environments and outdoor applications.
Our standard collection includes Black Structure, White Structure and Grey White Structure. Available for Thimble, Impulse, Nyto and more.
03 Wet paint
Freedom in colour
Some projects ask for something beyond the standard collection. Wet paint makes almost any colour possible, whether you prefer a deep matt finish, a subtle sheen, a textured surface or a bespoke shade to match your project. This finish is applied locally in West Flanders (Belgium).
Because this process works well for smaller production runs, it also opens the door to Modular Custom.
04 Anodisation
A protecting layer
Anodisation strengthens the surface of aluminium while preserving its refined appearance.
The process creates a hard protective layer that makes these finishes suitable for outdoor use. The final appearance depends on the preparation underneath, which means each anodised finish carries subtle depth and variation. Examples include Champagne, (Silver) Bronze and Black anodisation. Available for Minude, Klevr, Straw and more.
Around 90% of this process takes place in Belgium.
05 Cast colours
Every piece is different
Cast colours celebrate the character of cast aluminium instead of hiding it.
After casting, every component receives a transparent tinted varnish that protects the surface while preserving its natural texture. Small variations within their foundation remain visible, making every luminaire slightly different.
Available in Cast Bronze and Cast Black for Passage and Cast Grey for Passage, Shellby, Minude, Sulfer and Impulse.
