Repair and refurbishment can be separate services, but they can also go hand in hand. This overview helps you choose the right request.

01 Repair

Fix a Modular luminaire

Our repair service restores luminaires to proper working condition. We guarantee the availability of spare parts and components for many years so that your lighting keeps performing as intended.

Typical situations:

A faulty LED module
A broken driver or transformer
A damaged component

Our team analyses the issue and replaces the necessary parts so the luminaire functions again.

02 Refurbish

Upgrade your lighting installation

Refurbishment helps you modernise existing luminaires without replacing the entire system. We analyse the installation, calculate the benefits and propose an upgrade solution. For example, upgrading a halogen or fluorescent lighting to LED or prepare installations for smart lighting or controls.

Profile refurbishment

For selected profile systems, we keep the existing profile and upgrade the internal lighting technology to a new LED solution. We can currently upgrade the former version of SLD50, named SL-mini and the former version of SLD75, named SL75, that were both T5-profiles. We can also go from old to new LED technology.

By retaining the aluminium profile and as much of the existing structure as possible, we create a more efficient lighting system without replacing the entire installation.

Fixture refurbishment

Next to refurbishing profiles, we can also do this for selected fixtures. Some examples: Nomad, (Mini-)Multiple, Aton, Multami, Bolster, Lotis, (Twin)Slide, Ruler, K-series, Duell, Izar, Downut, Every Square, Giro and Fred.

Combine both services

Sometimes a repair request reveals an opportunity to upgrade the product at the same time. For example, a transformer reaches the end of its life. Instead of only replacing the component, we may propose an upgrade that improves energy efficiency and extends the luminaire’s lifespan.

This approach reduces waste and future maintenance.

Our refurbishment solutions are designed to improve both efficiency and long-term reliability. For example, specifications such as L95B5 at 72,000 hours indicate that after 72,000 operating hours, 95% of the LED lines still deliver at least 70% of their original light output.
