A space designed around Passage

Modular Lighting Instruments X Erased Studio

For the launch of Passage, we collaborated with Brussels-based Erased Studio to create an installation that framed the luminaire both as an object and as an atmosphere.

Working from an architectural approach, Erased Studio designed a structure inspired by three references: the hustle coat, where everything has its place; a jewellery box, protecting something precious; and a paravent, shaping space through form and movement.

The result was an installation that revealed itself gradually. Visitors could walk around it, look inside it and discover Passage from different perspectives. Rather than simply displaying a product, the installation created a spatial experience around light, materiality and presence.

  • Introducing Passage

At the centre of the installation was Passage, our newest architectural spotlight designed by Dutch product designer Seppe van Heusden.

Designed around the idea of continuity, Passage combines a calm architectural presence with technical precision. Its distinctive flat hinge creates a seamless connection between luminaire and architecture, while a custom-developed optical platform offers flexibility for different lighting applications.

  • Copenhagen conversations

Beyond the installation itself, 3 Days of Design offered an opportunity to reconnect with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, partners and friends from across the industry.

Throughout the festival, we organised informal gatherings across the city, including bike tours through Copenhagen and lunches at Kødbyens Fiskebar and Sankt Annæ. The conversations continued during an evening dinner at Restaurant No. 2, creating space for new ideas.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Pakhus 11, joined one of our events or spent time exploring the installation.

3 Days of Design remains one of the most inspiring moments in the architectural design calendar, bringing together people who share a passion for design, craftsmanship, architecture and lighting.
