Feeling safe in the workplace is a big part of employee happiness. Knowing that safety and security needs are taken care of reduces stress as well. We strive to create this safe environment for everyone, not only strict and high standards in hygiene and clean workspaces, but also in the activities our employees are involved in.
An accident-free workplace
One of our ongoing commitments is to create an accident-free workplace. Thanks to measures taken in the past years we have been accident-free for over three years. No accidents mean that no one has to stay home due to work-related accidents. Among these measures: our safety program based on Behavior Based Safety (BBS); the education of our employees and a safety-minded company culture; focus on Health, Safety and Well-being as part of our daily management meetings; outsourcing more high-risk activities such as metalworking or drilling and milling; limiting the use of harmful products and substances; providing everyone with an ergonomic workplace. In addition, we score high above the injury prevention rate target, set by our mother company Signify.
