What is profile lighting?

Profile lighting uses continuous, made-to-measure lines of light. Unlike a spotlight, which creates a single beam, a profile system lets you define the entire lighting line — choosing the exact length, light position and type of output.

Profile systems work well when a space needs continuous diffused lighting and clarity, from long corridors to open-plan offices, hospitality interiors, and many more.

Profile lighting has evolved. Once mainly used for practical purposes in office or retail, today’s profiles bring both function and design to the table, making them just as relevant in residential and hospitality settings.

The look is slimmer, the details more refined, and the finish options more versatile. Profiles blend effortlessly into architectural interiors, adding a subtle design layer while delivering reliable, high-performance light.

Combining profiles with Modupoint spots

Need both functional and accent lighting? Our profiles can be combined with Modupoint, our click-in system for spot modules. This allows you to add directional lighting exactly where it’s needed, without adding visual clutter or extra mounting points.

You can mix in spots like Gamin, Minude, Marbulito or Medard, depending on the atmosphere and function you want to create. It’s a smart way to layer light and shape the experience.

Designed with workspaces in mind

Profiles are often chosen for workspaces because they offer strong light output and a tidy, minimal design. They help avoid visual noise, which supports focus and concentration. Several of our profiles are well-suited to office use, with options that meet low-glare requirements (UGR <19) where needed. Each model comes in a different size and finish, so you can choose the look that works best for your space.

Colours that fit your interior project

Our profile systems come in a carefully selected range of colours and finishes to match the material palette of your project. Standard options include black and white, but we also offer elegant anodised finishes such as silver, bronze and champagne.

Looking for something more specific? Custom RAL or NCS colours are possible on request, giving you full freedom to align the lighting with furniture, joinery or other architectural elements.
