  • Design and combine

Different designs, installation options and accessories can be combined within the Tetrix family. This modular approach makes it possible to adapt the lighting design while maintaining a coherent visual language across the ceiling.

Tetrix works in a wide range of architectural environments and is designed for easy installation, making it suitable for both residential and professional lighting projects.

It all fits together

Tetrix was developed as a modular recessed lighting system where every component works together. Designers can compose their Tetrix configuration by selecting different designs, installation rings and accessories.

Want to try another configuration? The components can simply be clicked together and exchanged. This makes Tetrix adaptable throughout the design process, allowing lighting designers to experiment with different lighting effects and aesthetics.

We designed Tetrix as a recessed spot that combines minimal glare with modular flexibility. Its deep-recessed light source, installation options and accessories enhance anti-glare performance while adding architectural expression. Werner Roelen Product Manager

Creating atmosphere with warm dim lighting

Tetrix includes a warm dim lighting option that allows the colour temperature to change as the light is dimmed. At higher intensities the light remains neutral and bright, while dimming gradually introduces warmer tones.

This feature makes it possible to create different atmospheres within the same space, from vibrant lighting for activity to warmer lighting for more intimate environments.

Warm dim also allows Tetrix to be combined with other Modular lighting families that use the same technology, creating a consistent lighting atmosphere throughout a project.

Connected, easy installation, suitable everywhere

Tetrix Frame can be integrated into smart lighting systems by connecting a remote driver with a Hue or Casambi module. This allows designers to integrate Tetrix within contemporary lighting control systems.

Installation is straightforward thanks to a recessed ring with adjustable height or an installation ring with flange. Combined with an IP55 rating across the entire range, including adjustable versions, Tetrix Frame can be used in a wide variety of environments.

This makes Tetrix suitable for architectural lighting applications where both flexibility and durability are required.

What is a recessed downlight?

A recessed downlight is a lighting fixture installed into the ceiling so that the luminaire sits flush or slightly recessed. This creates a clean architectural appearance while providing controlled illumination for the space.

What is deep-recessed lighting?

Deep-recessed lighting places the light source further inside the fixture. This reduces glare and improves visual comfort while maintaining precise light control.

Why is anti-glare lighting important in architectural interiors?

Anti-glare lighting improves visual comfort by preventing direct view of the light source. This is especially important in residential, hospitality and office environments where lighting should support both atmosphere and usability.

When should designers use modular recessed lighting systems?

Modular lighting systems allow designers to combine different lighting modules, accessories and beam options within one coherent ceiling layout. This flexibility makes it easier to adapt lighting to the architecture and the functional needs of a space.
