Kogel's design is an ode to its mechanism. The ball joint idea was inspired by vivid memories of a distant anecdote, a trip to the ‘Maeslantkering’ (Dutch for Maeslant barrier), a giant storm surge barrier. Its mechanism, so impressive and complex, essentially works on the principle of a ball joint. Kogel brings beauty to the equation and becomes a logical balance between function and form.
A ball for freedom
Our new surface-mounted spotlight is starting a family with extremely flexible rotation. Enjoy complete freedom of light beam movement with 360° worth of options, thanks to a clever and smooth brass ball joint. There's no order to follow for changing positions, meaning, you can simply turn or twist Kogel in the position you like, endlessly.
Volume and verve on 48V track
Kogel Track 48V adds volume and a burst of energy to our slender Pista. A shape radiating presence and posture, it brings powerful light as it slides along a track travelling from one space to another. Move Kogel in the room, from wall to ceiling and back. Flaunt this ball joint luminaire on any of Pista's variants, and create a warm and cosy mood in any direction.

Technology and light pleasure
Thanks to a slim housing, Kogel's gear is all integrated in one package. Choose from 2 colour temperatures and 4 types of dimming solutions, including smart lighting possibilities. Alternatively, go for the pleasures of warm dim: tune down the intensity of your light and enjoy a change of colour temperature to a warmer light for more cosiness.

Mechanism and beauty
A stage with an elegant edged rim, a tube with stylishly curved extremities, held together by a ball. Kogel's stage shows a slight curvature around the ball, not only allowing more freedom of movement, but also embracing the ball's importance in the overall design. You'll also notice a black front ring to minimise glare. Express your love of minimalism with Kogel's clean and functional design.
