Your profile
We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to join Modular Lighting Instruments in Zurich, Winterluther, Lucerne or St. Gallen, Switzerland.
What you’ll do
- You are responsible for the support and strategic expension of the assigned accounts (Value-Added-Partner = VAR), architects and lighting designers in your own assigned sales area.
- Independent project acquisition and management as well as the successful completion of lighting projects.
- Development of ideas for the realization of lighting concepts in cooperation with the lighting design team.
- Cooperation with the customer service team for the purpose of order and project management.
- Development and implementation of various sales activities: e.g. trade fairs, organization of showroom visits, events.
What you’ll need
To be successful in this role, you understand what it takes to make a high-end brand better every single day. Therefore, you should bring:
- Commercial, architectural or electrical engineering degree with a clear focus on sales and structural sales (contract sales / B2B).
- Several years of experience in B2B / contract sales with the ability to adapt and implement sales strategies.
- A network in the architectural field with a focus on lighting is an advantage.
- Analytical and systematic way of working.
- Negotiation skills, strong communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Project experience and a confident manner in dealing with customers.
- High technical and architectural affinity.
- Thorough language skills, fluent in German and English, French is an advantage.
- You are commercially oriented: friendly, enthusiastic, assertive, stress resistant, and driven in your job.
- You have good communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS office.
