Once upon the time, there was Modular Lighting Instruments

It all started when Paul Rommens, an electrical installer, founded our company in 1980, in Roeselare, Belgium. Joined short after by engineer Jan Meyfroidt and the first iconic designs, Modupoint, Multiple and Nomad, were born. The partners loved light and beauty. They were passionate, and different. Today, we are still all light lovers. We continue blazing trails with architectural lighting solutions that elevate your creativity where you want it to go.

Many words come to mind when it's about our campaigns. We never went for standard. Instead, we opted for eccentric, daring and always, a touch of humour. Over the years, we have celebrated beauty in all its forms. With art, people, fairies & stories, but above all, we played with light. Yes there were animals, unusual settings. Yes people were almost sans apparel, and sometimes you thought, can they really…? Yes, we can. It's us.
